What lies behind us,
And what lies before us,
Are tiny matters compared, To what lies within Us

Quotes - 3 Idiots

Farhan Qureshi: Today my respect for that idiot shot up. Most of us went to college just for a degree. No degree meant no plum job, no pretty wife, no credit card, no social status. But none of this mattered to him, he was in college for the joy of learning, he never cared if he was first or last.

Machine Class Professor: Why are you back?
Rancho: Sir, I forgot to take something...
Machine Class Professor: What?
Rancho: Instruments that record analyse summarize organize debate and explain information which are illustrative non-illustrative hardbound paperback jacketed non-jacketed with forward introduction, table of contents, index that are indented for the enlightenment, understanding enrichment enhancement and education of the human brain through sensory root of vision... sometimes leisure
Machine Class Professor: [confused] What are you trying to say?
Rancho: Books sir! I forgot to take my books.

The Sands of Forgiveness

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him.

After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"

The other friend replied "When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

The waiting

Here I am waiting
wait for an uncertain
when the thought of running out of time
This heart felt so restless ...

Where goes the spirit
spirit that can make me stronger
at a time when I need it most
it went away from me ...

O Lord
look at your servant
help her in life
Give her strength to not give up
Teach her to receive weaknesses
and grateful for what has been held
because only with God's love
can take away the sadness of the world.

Senyum

Senyum boleh berjangkit,
Anda akan dijangkitinya seperti selesema,
Apabila seseorang tersenyum padaku hari ini,
Aku mula tersenyum juga.

Aku berjalan-jalan di satu laluan,
Dan seseorang terlihat riak mukaku,
Ketika dia membalas senyumku, aku sedar,
Aku patut memberikannya senyuman juga.

Aku berfikir tentang senyum itu,
Kemudian menyedari nilainya,
Satu senyuman, seperti senyumanku
Bisa membawaku mengelilingi dunia.

Jadi, jika anda merasa ingin senyum,
Jangan biarkan ia tanpa dikesan.
Mari kita mulai sebarkan wabak senyum,
agar dunia dijangkiti.
